Live Event Wedding Painting: Allie & Stan

Allie & Stan have incredible friends- I know this because a few of their friends got together, months before Allie & Stan’s Foundry wedding, and made sure I could be there to paint the ceremony. I mean, just look at the size of their wedding party!

So enjoy this blog post, of a rare ceremony painting. The photos are a mix of OneNine Images and photos I took myself. Here we go!

Greenery at the alter. This is very similar to my view of the ceremony.

Is there anything more tender than a groom’s face as he sees his bride walk down the aisle?

I was about halfway done with the painting by the end of the ceremony, so I moved my set-up into the reception space and painted through dinner as well. This is the way the painting display looked most of the night, while I worked. I particularly enjoy spotlighting the art while I work.
